Retail Staff Pharmacist in Knox, IN

This opportunity offers a rewarding role for a licensed pharmacist seeking to contribute expertise in an outpatient hospital retail setting. This contract position involves working 4 to 5 days per week, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, over an 8 to 13-week period.

Location: Knox, IN
Schedule:

• 4 to 5 days per week
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescription orders and verify technician-prepared products prior to release
• Ensure the security and proper handling of pharmacy stock and controlled substances
• Enter orders and patient information into the system with precision
• Collaborate with a pharmacy team including a Pharmacy Manager, one full-time pharmacist, and two pharmacy technicians

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Indiana pharmacy license
• Previous pharmacy experience in a retail or hospital outpatient setting
• Experience with Pioneer RX is preferred but not mandatory
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance
