Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Lakewood, Ohio

A per diem opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Staff Pharmacist to provide flexible coverage across multiple retail grocery pharmacy locations in the Akron, Cleveland, and Canton areas. • Provide comprehensive pharmacy services including prescription verification, patient counseling, inventory management, data entry, and supervision of pharmacy technicians
• Float between varied grocery store pharmacy locations within the assigned geographic area as needed
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth pharmacy operations and optimal patient care
• Utilize McKesson EnterpriseRx software for prescription processing and record-keeping
• Participate in a three-day paid training program before beginning per diem shifts to gain familiarity with operational procedures and software

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license in Ohio
• Minimum 1-2 years retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Ability and willingness to travel reliably between multiple store locations
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Adaptable to varying pharmacy volumes and staff levels
