Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) Temp-to-Perm Opportunity - Lancaster, Pennsylvania

RPh on the Go is actively seeking an experienced Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) for an exciting 13-week temp-to-hire opportunity in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This is a unique opportunity for a pharmacist who enjoys building operations from the ground up and wants to play a key role in launching a brand-new specialty pharmacy.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13-week contract with strong potential for permanent hire
• Initial Schedule: Approximately 20 hours/week
  • MondayFriday
  • 9:00 AM 1:00 PM
• Future Schedule: Transitions to full-time as the pharmacy becomes operational

What You'll Do

• Lead the pharmacy through the Pennsylvania licensure and inspection process
• Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge during the startup phase
• Develop pharmacy policies, procedures, and operational workflows
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Prepare for Board of Pharmacy inspections and maintain audit readiness
• Oversee pharmacy operations once the pharmacy launches
• Assist with hiring and training pharmacy staff as the team grows

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania Pharmacist license
• Previous Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) experience strongly preferred
• Experience with new pharmacy startups, licensure, inspections, or accreditation
• Background in specialty, mail order, or compounding pharmacy preferred
• Strong knowledge of DEA regulations and pharmacy compliance
• Willingness to obtain additional state pharmacist licenses is a plus
