Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Lena, IL

Join as a Staff Pharmacist in Lena, IL, providing vital pharmacy services with a focus on patient care and medication accuracy. This per diem role supports a pharmacy team consisting of three full-time technicians and one to two pharmacists, handling a weekly volume of approximately 2,000 prescriptions.

Responsibilities include:

• Counseling patients on medication use and safety
• Filling and dispensing prescriptions accurately
• Performing final verifications to ensure medication safety
• Administering immunizations, as needed

Schedule for initial onboarding and shifts:

• Thursday, August 20th: 12:00 pm 4:00 pm (training)
• Friday, August 21st: 11:00 am 7:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Clear and active Illinois Pharmacist license required
• Immunization certification preferred to support patient vaccination services
• Familiarity with EPS software is a plus but not mandatory
