Home Infusion Staff Pharmacist | Levittown, Pennsylvania

A pharmacy role is available for a Home Infusion Pharmacist, contracted for a minimum of 6 weeks to provide urgent backfill coverage. This position operates Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and supports a low-volume setting with one pharmacy technician.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized sterile medications, including intravenous (IV) fluids, in a controlled environment while adhering to strict aseptic techniques.
• Verify sterile compounding preparations to ensure accuracy and patient safety.
• Enforce compliance with USP and related sterile compounding standards.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow quality and efficiency.
• Maintain and monitor cleanroom equipment, ensuring proper function and cleanliness.
• Conduct final inspections of compounded sterile preparations prior to release.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in sterile compounding.
• Proficient in computer systems relevant to pharmacy operations.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
