A Contract to Hire opportunity for a Staff Pharmacist is available in a specialty retail environment in Lexington, NC, focusing on both sterile and non-sterile compounding. This role is ideal for pharmacists with 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience who are looking to expand their skills in a dynamic setting with a potential path to direct hire.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications while ensuring compliance with pharmacy laws and policies.
• Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding according to established protocols.
• Utilize PK software for order entry (training provided).
• Counsel patients on medication usage as appropriate.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff to optimize patient care.
• Maintain inventory and manage pharmacy workflow efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active North Carolina pharmacy license.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience.
• Experience with sterile compounding is a strong plus.
• Experience with non-sterile compounding is highly desirable.
• Ability to learn and use PK order entry software; training will be provided.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with a one-hour lunch break.
• Duration: 13-week contract to hire opportunity.
