IV Sterile Compounding Staff Pharmacist | Liverpool, New York
A direct hire opportunity is available for a Sterile Compounding Pharmacist to support an established healthcare facility. This role involves a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with no weekend shifts, ideal for pharmacists seeking consistent weekday hours.
Responsibilities:
- Perform IV verification with accuracy and attention to detail
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Contact patients as needed for medication-related communications
Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous hospital pharmacy experience is required
- Experience or knowledge in IV compounding and sterile preparations is highly preferred
- Current New York State pharmacist license is mandatory
- Background in home infusion pharmacy practices is advantageous
