Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Maben, Mississippi

Provide specialized support as a PRN Pharmacist in a veterinary pharmacy focusing on large animals. This role involves processing prescriptions efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution to support animal healthcare needs.

Location: Maben, MS
Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 4:00 PM
Start Dates: November 12 and 19; December 10 and 17
Training: One day of paid training prior to start

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter veterinary prescriptions into the pharmacy system
• Print prescription labels and coordinate with warehouse staff for order fulfillment
• Manage a daily volume of approximately 100 prescriptions, maintaining quality and speed
• Support veterinary staff by ensuring prompt and precise medication processing

Qualifications and Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Mississippi (MS License)
• Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience; retail experience is acceptable
• Comfortable working independently and with high prescription volumes
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
