Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Mathiston, Mississippi

This PRN Pharmacist position offers a unique opportunity to work within a veterinary pharmacy focused on large animals. The role primarily involves processing prescriptions by entering them into the system, printing labels, and coordinating with warehouse staff to complete the filling process. This position supports a high-volume environment, with approximately 100 prescriptions handled each day.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• Initial dates include November 12 and 19, and December 10 and 17
• One day of paid training provided prior to starting

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter prescriptions into the pharmacy system
• Print prescription labels for warehouse dispensing
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely filling and delivery of medications

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Mississippi pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year recent experience, retail pharmacy experience is acceptable
• Ability to efficiently manage a high volume of prescription entries
