Staff Pharmacist | Media, Pennsylvania

A retail pharmacist role is available with a contract-to-hire opportunity for a 13-week assignment in Media, PA. This position focuses on delivering exceptional patient care through prescription dispensing, compliance management, and community health initiatives. The pharmacist will lead immunization programs, including COVID-19 and influenza vaccines, while fostering team development and ensuring quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions and provide patient counseling.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage inventory effectively.
• Lead immunization programs promoting public health.
• Support team leadership and staff development efforts.
• Implement quality checks and continuously improve pharmacy processes.
• Collect and respond to patient feedback to enhance service.
• Manage data and reporting responsibilities.

Schedule:

• Week 1: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM 6:00 PM
• Week 2: Monday to Wednesday & Friday, 9:30 AM 6:00 PM; Thursday, 10:00 AM 2:00 PM; Saturday, 10:00 AM 2:00 PM (every other Saturday)
• The pharmacist will alternate Saturday shifts with a part-time colleague. On Saturday weeks, Thursday will be a reduced four-hour shift.

Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license.
• Immunization certification preferred.
• Recent retail pharmacy experience required.
• Comfortable with an alternating Saturday schedule.
