Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | Medina, Ohio

This per diem position offers the opportunity to provide flexible pharmacy coverage across multiple retail grocery locations in the Akron, Cleveland, and Canton areas. The role involves floating between stores as needed to support pharmacy operations and ensure excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include:

• Filling prescriptions and verifying accuracy
• Performing inventory management and data entry
• Supervising pharmacy technicians and maintaining workflow
• Providing excellent customer service in a retail grocery pharmacy setting
• Adapting to varied store volumes, with some locations operating independently

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Ohio pharmacist license required
• 1-2 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Willingness and ability to travel between multiple locations reliably
• Experience with McKesson EnterpriseRx software is a plus
• Strong communication skills and professionalism

Schedule:

• Self-scheduling PRN model with flexible shifts
• Monthly shift selections offered around the 20th-22nd of each month
• Additional last-minute coverage opportunities available

Training and Onboarding:

• Three paid 8-hour training shifts required before starting regular shifts
• Training locations may vary and could be outside preferred areas
• Smock/uniform provided
