Staff Pharmacist | Memphis, Tennessee

This opportunity offers a rewarding role as a Staff Pharmacist focused on providing exceptional pharmaceutical care for patients with specialized needs. The position involves managing clinical therapies for conditions such as hemophilia, immune deficiencies, autoimmune disorders, and other chronic illnesses requiring infused medications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive clinical patient management, including expertise in factor replacement therapies, emicizumab, and various subcutaneous and IV infusion treatments.
• Educate patients and their families on complex drug administration techniques, side effect management, medication adherence, and safe home handling.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and in-house care coordinators to ensure integrated patient care.
• Assist with benefits and access navigation by working alongside reimbursement specialists to manage insurance plans, obtain prior authorizations, and identify financial assistance options.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Tennessee Pharmacist License is required.
• Arkansas Pharmacist License is highly preferred.
• Experience with CareTend pharmacy software is a significant plus; training can be provided for candidates without prior experience.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• Strong clinical knowledge with a keen interest in specialty pharmacy and patient-centered care.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (standard business hours)
• Low volume workflow, enabling focused patient interaction and thorough care.

Location:

• Based in Cordova, TN, with easy access to Memphis and surrounding areas.
