LTC Staff Pharmacist | Meriden, Kansas

This position offers an excellent opportunity for a Staff Pharmacist to contribute to a closed-door long-term care (LTC) pharmacy. The role focuses on maintaining high-quality pharmaceutical services and ensuring patient safety through meticulous QA and verification processes.

Location:

• Topeka, Kansas
• Contract to hire

Schedule/Hours:

• Thursdays and Fridays
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Conduct quality assurance (QA) activities to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Perform cycle checking to ensure accuracy in medication dispensing
• Verify prescriptions thoroughly and accurately for LTC patients
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support daily operations and patient care

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Kansas Pharmacist License with no negative history
• Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience; LTC experience preferred
• Open to newer graduates and those with retail pharmacy backgrounds
• Must be able to start as soon as possible
