Remote Pharmacist Contract to Hire

We are looking for a Pharmacist to join a growing pharmacy operation in a fully remote capacity. This role combines prescription verification with direct patient communication, giving you the opportunity to use your clinical expertise while helping patients better understand and manage their medications.

Schedule:

• Full-time
• MondayFriday
• Remote

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify new and refill prescription orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
• Identify potential drug interactions, contraindications, dosing concerns, and other medication-related issues.
• Conduct patient consultations by phone and provide clear medication education.
• Answer questions related to medications, refills, side effects, administration, and adherence.
• Communicate with prescribers and other healthcare professionals when clarification is needed.
• Follow established pharmacy procedures and applicable regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Active Idaho Pharmacist license or willingness to obtain Idaho licensure.
• Strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and patient counseling abilities.
• Mail order or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and remain productive in a remote setting.
