Full-Time Staff Pharmacist (Travel Contract) - Minnesota
About the Role:
RPh on the Go is seeking an experienced Retail Pharmacist for a full-time, 13-week travel contract with a respected retail pharmacy in Minnesota. This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking to expand their experience while enjoying the benefits of a travel assignment.
In this role, you will oversee prescription verification, provide patient counseling, and support daily pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. This assignment includes a comprehensive travel package featuring housing accommodations, mileage reimbursement, and per-diem.
What Youll Do:
- Verify and dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Provide patient counseling regarding medication therapy, side effects, and adherence
- Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
- Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain workflow efficiency
- Manage inventory and support daily pharmacy operations
- Deliver exceptional customer service and promote positive patient outcomes
What Youll Need:
- Active Minnesota Pharmacist License (required)
- Previous retail pharmacy experience required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to adapt quickly and work effectively in a new pharmacy environment
