Support veterinary care for large animals as a PRN Pharmacist, providing expertise in a specialized pharmacy setting. This per diem position offers a structured Monday-to-Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with initial shifts scheduled for November 12 and 19, and December 10 and 17.

Location:

Mississippi State, MS

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 4:00 PM
Initial dates: Nov 12, 19; Dec 10, 17

Responsibilities:

Accurately enter prescriptions into the pharmacy system
Print labels for medications
Collaborate with warehouse staff who fill the prescriptions
Manage a high volume of approximately 100 scripts daily in a large animal veterinary pharmacy environment
Complete one day of paid training prior to starting work

Qualifications:

Licensed pharmacist in Mississippi (MS License required)
Minimum of 1 year recent pharmacy experience, retail experience accepted
Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in prescription processing
Comfortable working in a veterinary pharmacy setting
