Retail Staff Pharmacist | Mount Sterling, Kentucky

A busy retail pharmacy in Mount Sterling, Kentucky is seeking a full-time Staff Pharmacist to join their team. Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (working four weekdays per week)
• Saturday coverage 1 to 2 times per month, 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescriptions thoroughly to ensure accuracy and patient safety
• Provide expert patient counseling and respond to medication-related inquiries
• Oversee pharmacy workflow and support pharmacy technicians in daily operations
• Utilize PioneerRx system to efficiently process and manage prescriptions
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Deliver excellent customer service to patients and pharmacy staff in a fast-paced retail setting
• Assist with scheduling and coverage on Saturdays, as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Kentucky pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Familiarity with PioneerRx system is an advantage
