Per Diem Home Infusion Staff Pharmacist | Naperville, Illinois

A home infusion pharmacy is seeking a per diem Staff Pharmacist to provide expert coverage supporting patients with acute and chronic medical needs. This role is onsite in Orland Park, IL, and offers weekday hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM during a focused coverage period from November 13 to November 30, 2026. Training will be provided to ensure comfort with the pharmacys systems and workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and process physician orders accurately and efficiently
• Perform sterile compounding and support cleanroom operations adhering to USP standards
• Dispense medications and infusion supplies safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Maintain thorough patient and pharmacy records in accordance with federal and state laws
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff during shifts
• Manage assigned patient caseloads and provide pharmacist coverage as needed

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License in good standing
• Minimum of 1+ year pharmacy experience; 2+ years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred
• Previous infusion therapy and/or sterile compounding experience preferred
• Knowledge of USP sterile compounding standards strongly desired
• Strong communication, multitasking, time-management, and critical-thinking skills

• MondayFriday only (no weekends)
