Join a growing pharmacy team focused on Long Term Care (LTC) and Mail Order services, seeking two experienced pharmacists for a second shift contract opportunity. Location: New Berlin, WI
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Shift: 2nd Shift (1:00 PM 9:30 PM), Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays
Duration: 8 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately accept and dispense prescription medications following legal requirements.
• Monitor patients medication compliance, identifying over-usage patterns.
• Ensure prescribed medications meet safety and suitability standards.
• Maintain confidential clinical records and pharmacy files with precision.
• Provide medication counseling covering usage, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Deliver patient services including smoking cessation, blood pressure screening, and cholesterol management.
• Educate patients on proper use of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
• Compound sterile and non-sterile medication formulations adhering to protocol.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and clerks to ensure efficient workflow.
• Manage inventory levels of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to resolve drug-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in Wisconsin.
• Proven pharmacy experience; Long Term Care (LTC) experience strongly preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work the specified 2nd shift hours and occasional Saturdays.
