Pharmacist in New Rochelle, NY

This opportunity is for a Staff Pharmacist working mid to evening shifts at a closed-door long-term care (LTC) facility. The position offers a contract-to-hire pathway with a direct hire potential and is based in the New Rochelle, NY area. The facility dispenses an average of roughly 600 prescriptions per day and utilizes the Frameworks software system, with training available for candidates not yet familiar.

Responsibilities:

• Perform PV1 and PV2 prescription verifications accurately and efficiently
• Handle occasional EV kits
• Prepare intravenous (IV) medications with training provided
• Conduct non-sterile compounding under supervision during training

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday
• Shift options: 11:00 am to 9:00 pm or 1:00 pm to 11:00 pm
• Rotating Sundays are part of the schedule

Qualifications:

• Active and clear New York State Pharmacist license
• Recent pharmacy experience preferred; open to new graduates
• LTC experience is a plus but not required
• Willingness to learn and work with innovative pharmacy systems such as Frameworks
