Home Infusion Staff Pharmacist - Newark, New Jersey

A home infusion pharmacy located in Wayne, NJ is seeking a full-time Pharmacist for a contract position starting October 19, 2026, through the end of January 2027. This role requires a dedicated professional with solid experience in sterile compounding and prescription verification to ensure the safe and effective delivery of medication therapy in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule:

• Full Time, 40 hours per week
• Monday to Friday
• Shift options: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy, appropriateness, and safe drug therapy.
• Prepare, fill, and compound medications following established protocols and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records including inventory management, drug usage reporting, and comprehensive patient documentation.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as internal company policies.
• Support pharmacy operations and quality assurance initiatives with attention to detail and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in New Jersey.
• Proven experience in verifying sterile medications.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with USP 797 sterile compounding guidelines.
