Home Infusion Pharmacist in Norristown, PA

An urgent opening is available for a Home Infusion Pharmacist to provide critical support in a controlled, sterile environment. This contract opportunity, based in Norristown, PA, requires expertise in sterile compounding to ensure the highest standards of patient safety and medication accuracy.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Duration:

• Approximately 6+ weeks

Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized sterile medications such as IV fluids using strict aseptic techniques
• Verify sterile preparations to ensure accuracy and quality
• Enforce compliance with USP and USP standards governing sterile compounding
• Oversee pharmacy technicians supporting the sterile compounding process
• Maintain and monitor cleanroom equipment to uphold safety and sterility standards
• Perform final inspections of compounded sterile products before release

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacy license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience with sterile compounding in a pharmacy setting
• Strong computer skills for documentation and workflow management
• Ability to adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and regulatory standards
