Retail Staff Pharmacist in North Adams, MA

This position offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager to lead and manage operations in an independent retail pharmacy setting. Serving as the sole pharmacist and pharmacy manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Manage prescription verification and computer RX order entry.
• Collaborate with a team of three pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow.
• Handle an average volume of 100 prescriptions per day.
• Provide professional pharmaceutical care and counseling to patients.
• Step into the Pharmacy Manager role, if applicable, or develop leadership skills with support for advancement.

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts pharmacy license.
• Proven retail pharmacy experience.
• Pharmacy-in-Charge (PIC) experience is highly desirable.
• Staff Pharmacists eager to advance to a Pharmacy Manager role will be considered.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead a small team.

Schedule and Location:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
• Contract to hire opportunity for 13 weeks.
• Position located in North Adams, MA.
