Retail Staff Pharmacist in North Judson, IN

A retail outpatient hospital pharmacy is seeking a skilled pharmacist to provide reliable coverage on a contract basis in North Judson, IN. This assignment offers an opportunity to work within a well-established team and support daily operations that ensure high-quality patient care.

Location: North Judson, Indiana
Schedule:

• 4 to 5 days per week, typically 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Coverage preference includes Thursdays and Fridays every week
• Every other week includes Saturday coverage, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
• Contract length: 8 to 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify medication orders, including checking technician-prepared products prior to release
• Maintain pharmacy security and controlled substances in compliance with regulations
• Enter prescriptions and patient data accurately using Pioneer RX (experience preferred)
• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager, one full-time pharmacist, and two pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Indiana pharmacy license required
• Previous retail or outpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX order entry system is strongly preferred
• Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with staff and patients
