Per Diem Staff Pharmacist | North Vernon, Indiana

Per Diem Pharmacist opportunity in North Vernon, IN, supporting a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) and 340B pharmacy environment. This role requires delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care from October 5-9, with scheduled hours Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (lunch break noon to 1:00 PM). Utilizing Liberty RX software, you will ensure efficient pharmacy operations while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare drugs and prescription orders for patient collection or delivery.
• Oversee ordering and management of pharmacy equipment and supplies.
• Control inventory levels, ensuring proper storage and handling of prescription drugs and controlled substances according to best practice protocols.
• Verify prescription details directly with healthcare providers as needed.
• Maintain approved drug and controlled substances lists, including monitoring expiry dates.
• Monitor product displays and the general appearance of the pharmacy.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Keep accurate records of inventory, patient data, and insurance claims.
• Support retail pharmacy functions and provide telepharmacy assistance.
• Collaborate with the Pharmacy Manager to assess staff progress and pharmacy needs.
• Ensure pharmacy services comply with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Indiana Pharmacist license (verified).
• Immunization license required.
• Resume, skills checklist, and references to support your application.
