Retail Staff Pharmacist in O Fallon, IL

This opportunity is ideal for a dedicated pharmacy professional interested in working approximately 24-30 hours per week in a dynamic retail environment. This assignment offers the chance to contribute to excellent patient care while working within established pharmacy hours from Monday through Saturday, with on-call responsibilities on Sundays.

Location: OFallon, Illinois

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM 2:00 PM
• Sunday: Emergency orders only, on-call from 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (compensated at $8/hour on-call)

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately filling, checking, and verifying prescriptions
• Providing patient counseling and pharmaceutical care
• Handling retail pharmacy operations in compliance with regulations and standards
• Managing emergency orders during on-call hours

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Illinois Pharmacy License required
• PharmD degree preferred
• Experience working with PioneerRx pharmacy software preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Previous retail pharmacy experience is highly valued
