Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist - Oakwood, Illinois

A per diem opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to support an ambulatory outpatient retail pharmacy in Oakwood, IL. This position offers a focused work schedule on select days in October, providing a balanced approach for professionals seeking flexible hours. The role is ideal for pharmacists with retail pharmacy experience who are comfortable working in a high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescriptions in an ambulatory outpatient retail setting
• Utilize Epic Willow for order entry and documentation
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and company policies
• Provide patient counseling and support as needed
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Illinois pharmacist license is required
• Prior retail pharmacy experience is essential
• Experience with Epic Willow is a plus; training will be provided if needed
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Schedule:

• Per diem, scheduled for October 21 and 23
• Monday through Friday shifts, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Work Environment and Volume:

• Ambulatory outpatient retail pharmacy setting
• Approximately 100 prescriptions per day
