Per Diem Retail Staff Pharmacist | Oglethorpe, Georgia

This role is for a per diem staff pharmacist position supporting an independent retail pharmacy environment. The position offers flexible scheduling with one day per week shifts, generally from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, providing a great opportunity for pharmacists seeking consistent but limited weekly hours.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions in compliance with all regulations
• Provide excellent patient counseling and medication therapy management
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient workflow in a volume of approximately 275 prescriptions per day
• Utilize Pioneer RX for order entry; training available for those without prior experience
• Maintain professional standards and ensure safety within the pharmacy

Qualifications:

• Current, active pharmacy license in Georgia
• Previous retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Pioneer RX software is a plus but not required
• Ability to work independently within a small team environment consisting of one pharmacist and three pharmacy technicians
