Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Pecatonica, IL

A Per Diem Staff Pharmacist opportunity is available in Pecatonica, IL, providing essential support to a pharmacy team consisting of three full-time technicians and one to two pharmacists. This role is perfect for a detail-oriented pharmacist who is experienced in managing a moderate prescription volume, averaging roughly 2,000 prescriptions per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Counseling patients on medication therapies and proper usage
• Filling and dispensing medications accurately and safely
• Performing final verifications to ensure prescription correctness
• Administering immunizations, as needed
• Supporting pharmacy operations during peak hours and special shifts

Schedule highlights include:

• Training session on Thursday, August 20th, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
• Active shift on Friday, August 21st, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm

Desired qualifications:

• Active and clear Illinois Pharmacist license
• Immunization certification strongly preferred
• Experience with EPS software is beneficial but not required
