Home Infusion Pharmacist - Philadelphia, PA

An urgent need exists for a Home Infusion Pharmacist to manage sterile medication compounding within a controlled environment. This contract opportunity spans 6+ weeks and offers a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The role supports a low-volume setting with one pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities include preparing customized sterile medications such as IV fluids, employing aseptic techniques to guarantee patient safety. The pharmacist will verify sterile preparations, ensure adherence to USP and USP standards, supervise pharmacy technicians, maintain the cleanliness and functionality of cleanroom equipment, and conduct final inspections before distribution.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in sterile compounding
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy management systems
• Knowledge of USP and sterile compounding standards
• Ability to oversee pharmacy technician workflow effectively
