RPh on the Go is hiring a Staff Pharmacist for a direct hire opportunity in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. This is a full-time, onsite position in a high-volume closed-door pharmacy environment. New graduates are encouraged to apply!


Shift: MondayFriday, rotating schedule between 8:00 AM9:00 PM. Candidates must be comfortable with varying shifts within these hours.


What Youll Do

  • Counsel patients by phone on prescriptions, refills, side effects, adherence, and proper medication use
  • Review and clinically verify new and refill prescriptions
  • Screen for drug interactions, contraindications, dosing concerns, and therapeutic appropriateness
  • Perform final pharmacist verification of filled prescriptions
  • Collaborate with prescribers to resolve prescription or clinical issues
  • Assist with prescription transfers and ensure accurate processing from start to finish


Requirements

  • Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing
  • 06 years of pharmacist experience
  • Retail, mail-order, specialty, or closed-door pharmacy experience preferred
  • New graduates will be considered
  • Comfortable working a rotating schedule
