A community pharmacy serving multiple locations in Northwest Ohio seeks a skilled Staff Pharmacist to provide essential PRN coverage. This role focuses on supporting pharmacy operations by filling in during vacations and scheduled days off, ensuring continued high-quality patient care.

Schedule:

  • Monday: 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (closed for lunch 12:00 PM 1:00 PM)
  • Tuesday to Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (closed for lunch 12:00 PM 1:00 PM)
  • Friday: 8:00 AM 1:00 PM

Responsibilities include:

  • Accurately checking and verifying prescriptions
  • Counseling patients on medication use and safety
  • Maintaining compliance with regulatory and organizational policies
  • Collaborating with pharmacy staff to optimize customer service and operational efficiency

Qualifications:

  • Active and clear Ohio Pharmacist license
  • Minimum of 1+ year recent retail pharmacy experience
  • Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel patients
