Retail Staff Pharmacist in Pottsville, PA

This opportunity is for a skilled pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy services in a busy retail environment. The role supports two locations and offers a flexible schedule with the potential for expanded hours. Candidates should be proficient with RX 30 pharmacy systems and comfortable managing a daily script volume of approximately 500 prescriptions with the support of pharmacy technicians and fellow pharmacists.

Location: Pottsville, PA (with floater responsibilities between Shenandoah, PA and Fredericksburg, PA)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients on prescriptions and over-the-counter remedies.
• Utilize RX 30 pharmacy software to manage order entry and prescription processing.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth daily operations and meet patient care standards.
• Support two retail pharmacy sites by floating between locations, providing reliable pharmacist coverage where needed.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local pharmacy regulations, including maintaining patient confidentiality and medication safety.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacy license required.
• Demonstrated retail pharmacy experience essential.
• Experience with RX 30 pharmacy software highly preferred.
