Retail Staff Pharmacist | Rangely, Colorado

This opportunity is for a Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) or Staff Pharmacist role in an outpatient retail pharmacy setting located in Rangely, CO. The position is a contract to hire with a 13-week initial assignment and the potential for direct hire. The pharmacy utilizes Liberty for order entry and has a team of 4 full-time pharmacy technicians and 7 staff members on payroll. You will be the sole pharmacist on site.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break

Workload and Environment:

• Outpatient retail pharmacy environment
• Script volume averages 200 on Mondays and 125 from Tuesday through Friday

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage pharmacy operations as Pharmacist-in-Charge or provide high-level pharmaceutical services as a Staff Pharmacist
• Oversee and ensure quality dispensing, counseling, and medication management
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and staff to maintain smooth workflow
• Uphold compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Colorado pharmacy license is required
• Retail pharmacy experience is mandatory
• Pharmacy management experience is preferred but candidates with strong staff pharmacist backgrounds will be considered for the PIC role
