Retail Staff Pharmacist | Rangely, Colorado

This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist eager to take on a leadership role or apply their retail pharmacy skills in an outpatient setting. As the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC), you will be the sole pharmacist managing operations alongside a dedicated team of four full-time pharmacy technicians, supported by a total of seven staff members on payroll. This contract-to-hire position offers a 13-week assignment with the potential to transition into a direct hire role.

Location: Rangely, CO
Environment: Outpatient Retail Pharmacy
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• One-hour lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage pharmacy operations as the PIC or contribute as a Staff Pharmacist with a chance to step into PIC responsibilities
• Process prescription orders using Liberty pharmacy software
• Ensure accurate and efficient prescription dispensing with a daily script volume averaging 200 on Mondays and 125 Tuesday through Friday
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to maintain smooth workflow and exceptional patient service

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current Colorado pharmacist license required
• Proven experience in retail pharmacy practice
• Pharmacy management or supervisory experience considered a strong asset, though experienced staff pharmacists are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work independently as the sole pharmacist on-site
