IV Sterile Compounding Oncology Staff Pharmacist in Rantoul, IL

This role offers an opportunity to work in a focused clinical pharmacy environment supporting oncology treatment plans in a dedicated oncology clinic. The position is contract to hire, initially for 13 weeks with potential for extension and direct hire.

Location: Rantoul, IL
Schedule: Days, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy support specific to oncology patient care
• Develop and manage clinical oncology treatment plans
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians in preparing hazardous medications for sterile compounding
• Double-check technician work to ensure accuracy and safety
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations within an isolated oncology pharmacy environment

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Illinois pharmacy license required
• Proven clinical pharmacy experience in oncology settings
• Solid background in oncology and chemotherapy medication management
• Extensive experience handling hazardous drugs safely
• Competence in sterile compounding techniques
• Familiarity with Epic order entry system
