Retail Pharmacist in Rathdrum, ID

This is a part-time Retail Staff Pharmacist opportunity located in Rathdrum, ID, offering a 13-week contract to hire arrangement. The position focuses on providing excellent pharmacy services during the day shift, supporting a collaborative and customer-centered environment.

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday Friday, 9:00 AM 6:00 PM
• Rotating Saturdays, 9:00 AM 1:00 PM (Saturday work offers a compensatory day off on Thursday or Friday)

Work Environment:

• Team includes 3 pharmacy technicians, 2 pharmacists, and 1 cashier
• Utilizes Pioneer pharmacy system
• Handles a prescription volume of approximately 300 400 per day

Responsibilities:

• Verify prescription accuracy and dispense medications accordingly
• Provide patient counseling with emphasis on safe and effective medication use
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Deliver excellent customer service and demonstrate strong team collaboration

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in Idaho required
• Proven pharmacy experience, preferably in a retail setting
• Updated resume, completed skills checklist, and professional references
