Retail Immunizing Retail Staff Pharmacist - Hillsboro, WV

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a busy retail pharmacy by providing expert pharmacy services and leadership within a two-day weekly schedule. The position focuses on maintaining high standards in medication safety, regulatory compliance, and patient care.

Schedule:

• Tuesday and Wednesday
• 7:30am to 6:00pm (10-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch)
• 20 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and staff pharmacists to ensure efficient operations
• Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely
• Manage inventory, medication stock, and retail formulary to optimize pharmacy resources
• Ensure compliance with controlled substance handling and documentation
• Oversee administration and compliance of the 340B program
• Manage pharmacy billing, claims submission, and reconciliation processes
• Utilize and maintain pharmacy and EHR systems, with training provided as needed
• Support workflow improvements and quality initiatives
• Administer immunizations as part of patient care services

Qualifications:

• Active and clear West Virginia pharmacy license
• Experience using Pioneer systems preferred
• Graduation from an accredited School of Pharmacy; PharmD preferred but not required
• Current CPR certification and active immunization credential
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills to engage patients and team members effectively
