Retail Staff Pharmacist in San Angelo, TX

A leading healthcare facility in San Angelo, TX is seeking four experienced Retail Pharmacists for a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers the chance to work within a busy pharmacy environment supporting a high volume of prescriptions with an average script count of 1,400 daily. Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM 7:00 PM (rotating shifts)
• Every 3rd to 4th Saturday, 8:00 AM 2:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Conduct thorough clinical reviews to ensure patient safety
• Administer immunizations in accordance with protocol
• Provide patient counseling to support medication adherence and understanding
• Utilize the Willow pharmacy computer system for prescription processing

Desired Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted Texas Pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in retail pharmacy settings
• Certification in immunization administration
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and healthcare staff
