A dedicated clinical pharmacist is needed for a contract-to-hire opportunity at an oncology clinic in Savoy, IL. This role offers 13 weeks of daytime hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, with potential extension and a pathway to direct hire. Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services focused on oncology care plans
• Collaborate with technicians to prepare hazardous medications for compounding
• Double-check technician work related to sterile compounding and hazardous drugs
• Oversee pharmacy operations within the oncology clinic setting
• Utilize Epic for order entry and medication management

Qualifications:

• Illinois pharmacy license is mandatory
• Proven experience in clinical oncology pharmacy
• Strong background in handling hazardous drugs and chemotherapy medications
• Proficient in sterile compounding procedures
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records system
• Prior experience in an isolated oncology pharmacy environment
