Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Scottsburg, IN

A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking a skilled PRN Pharmacist to provide expert pharmacy services in a 340B pharmacy environment. This per diem role requires a professional with a strong background in dispensing and managing prescription medications, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards, and delivering exceptional patient care.

Location: Scottsburg, IN
Schedule:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (Lunch break from 12:00 PM 1:00 PM)
  Dates: October 5-9

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare drugs and prescription orders for collection or delivery with precision.
• Oversee ordering and inventory management of equipment and supplies.
• Ensure best practices in storing prescription drugs and controlled substances.
• Verify prescription details with healthcare providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, patient data, and insurance claims.
• Monitor pharmacy appearance, product displays, and shelves.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
• Provide telepharmacy support to extend pharmacy services.
• Collaborate closely with the Pharmacy Manager to support staff and operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications:

• Active Indiana Pharmacist license (verified)
• Immunization license
• Experience using Liberty RX software preferred
• Strong documentation: resume, skills checklist, and references required
• Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not mandatory
