Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Sedgwick, Colorado

An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical services at a retail pharmacy affiliated with a hospital in Sedgwick, Colorado. This per diem position offers essential coverage for three days in late November, supporting a pharmacy team comprised of two full-time technicians and one PRN pharmacist. The pharmacy processes approximately 500 prescriptions per week, serving the community with dedication and care.

Responsibilities:

• Counsel patients on medication usage and safety.
• Fill and dispense prescription medications accurately.
• Perform final verifications to ensure quality and compliance.
• Manage daily pharmacy operations with accountability and professionalism.
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare providers.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Colorado Pharmacist license.
• Recent experience as a pharmacist is preferred.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply and will be considered.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage the pharmacy with ownership mindset.

Schedule:

• Coverage required on November 24th, 25th, and 27th.
• Pharmacy hours: 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break.
