Retail Staff Pharmacist - Shelburne Falls, MA

A pharmacy leadership opportunity is available in an independent retail setting in Shelburne Falls, MA. This role offers a chance to serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or as a staff pharmacist with the potential to advance into pharmacy management. The position is structured as a 13-week contract to hire, with a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations as the sole pharmacist and pharmacy manager
• Ensure accuracy and compliance in prescription processing using computer-based RX order entry
• Manage a volume of approximately 100 prescriptions per day
• Lead and collaborate with a support team of three pharmacy technicians

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Massachusetts pharmacy license is mandatory
• Proven retail pharmacy experience is required
• Pharmacy in Charge (PIC) experience is highly preferred; however, motivated staff pharmacists eager to step into management will be considered
