A pharmacy in Shelby, OH, is seeking a dedicated Per Diem pharmacist to provide vacation coverage with reliable support for daily operations. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with recent retail experience ready to maintain smooth workflow in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Per Diem
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Pharmacy open 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM; pharmacist on-site earlier to prepare
• No lunch closurecontinuous pharmacy service throughout the day
• Vacation coverage needed, including November 25

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and fill over 200 prescriptions daily using PioneerRx software
• Perform data entry and product verification with accuracy
• Answer phones and provide professional customer service
• Check in and sign for controlled and narcotic drug deliveries
• Collaborate with three full-time pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow continuity
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum of one year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient with pharmacy software (experience with PioneerRx preferred but not required)
• Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
