Retail Staff Pharmacist | Shenandoah, Pennsylvania

A pharmacy professional is needed to fill a pharmacist position in a busy retail setting, specializing in RX 30 order entry with a daily script volume of approximately 500 prescriptions. This ongoing contract role offers consistent hours with potential for additional shifts, providing a dynamic environment ideal for a detail-oriented pharmacist.

Location: Shenandoah, PA (with potential floater duties to Fredericksburg, PA)
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM or 9:00 AM 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:00 AM 3:00 PM

Role Responsibilities:

• Accurately process prescription orders using RX 30 software in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment.
• Provide expert pharmaceutical care, ensuring patient safety and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with a team of 2 pharmacists and 1-2 pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient pharmacy operations.
• Manage workflow effectively to handle approximately 500 prescriptions daily.
• Assist in float coverage between Shenandoah and Fredericksburg locations, potentially increasing available hours.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacy license required.
• Retail pharmacy experience required, demonstrating proficiency in managing daily operational challenges.
• RX 30 experience highly preferred for seamless integration into the pharmacy's systems and processes.
