Per Diem Staff Pharmacist in Soddy Daisy, TN

A per diem mail order pharmacist opportunity is available in the Chattanooga area, supporting an independent compounding pharmacy with an ongoing need for vacation coverage. This role involves managing high-volume compounding operations, averaging approximately 1000 compounds daily, and overseeing a skilled pharmacy team.

Work Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 9:00 am 6:00 pm
• Lunch break from 1:00 pm 2:00 pm
• Closed on Saturdays and Sundays

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of five pharmacy technicians responsible for data entry, prescription fills, and customer communications
• Address and resolve clinical and operational questions
• Oversee the mail order eye drop department, which dispenses three specialized formulations of post-cataract surgery eye drops

Qualifications:

• Valid Tennessee Pharmacist License in good standing
• One to two years or more of pharmacist experience
• Previous mail order pharmacy experience preferred but not mandatory
• Retired, semi-retired pharmacists, or recent reliable graduates with a professional mindset are encouraged to apply
