Staff Pharmacist (Contract) - Maternity Leave Coverage

RPh on the Go is seeking a Wisconsin-licensed Staff Pharmacist to provide maternity leave coverage for a well-established, family-owned independent pharmacy in Phillips, Wisconsin. This is a unique opportunity to make a direct impact in an underserved rural community where reliable pharmacist coverage is critical.

The pharmacy is open to pharmacists with full-time or partial availability, including candidates who can commit to only a few shifts each week.

Position Details

• Independent retail pharmacy setting
• PioneerRx software
• Work alongside experienced pharmacy technicians
• Opportunity to begin training prior to start date, if available
• Travel candidates welcome

Schedule

• Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• Rotating Saturdays: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM (every other Saturday)
• Pharmacists working Saturday shifts receive an additional weekday off
• Pharmacy closed on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Years Day

Responsibilities

• Prescription verification
• Patient counseling and customer service
• Immunization administration
• Supervision of pharmacy technicians
• Compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
• General retail pharmacy operations

Requirements

• Active Wisconsin Pharmacist license in good standing
• At least 1 year of pharmacist experience post-graduation
• Certified and comfortable administering immunizations
• Strong communication and patient care skills
