Per Diem Staff Pharmacist - Sturgeon, Missouri

This per diem pharmacist opportunity offers a chance to take a lead role as the sole pharmacist on staff within a busy retail pharmacy environment. You will work closely with a dedicated team of two full-time pharmacy technicians to provide excellent medication services and patient care.

Assignment Details:

• Location: Columbia, MO
• Term: October 3rd through October 7th
• Schedule:
  • Saturday, October 3: 8:45 AM 2:15 PM
  • Monday through Wednesday, October 5-7: 7:30 AM 6:15 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient counseling to ensure understanding of prescribed medications
• Fill and dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently
• Perform final verifications to maintain compliance and safety standards
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth workflow

Qualifications:

• Current, clear, and active Missouri Pharmacist license
• Recent experience as a pharmacist preferred; new graduates welcome to apply
• Comfortable working independently as the sole pharmacist on shift
• Familiarity with Pioneer pharmacy software is a plus, but willingness to learn is acceptable
