An Outpatient Staff Pharmacist is needed for a flexible PRN position with an ongoing assignment at an outpatient pharmacy in Sunnyvale, CA. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the smooth operation of pharmacy services by providing coverage during vacations and ensuring patient care continuity. The schedule includes shifts on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, with possible weekend hours, anytime between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM, requiring adaptable availability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense prescription medications while offering thorough counseling to patients
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to promote comprehensive, coordinated patient care
• Review prescription orders to verify accuracy and appropriateness
• Maintain precise patient records, including medication histories and interactions
• Manage pharmacy inventory by ordering and restocking medications as necessary

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear California Pharmacist License is required
