LTC Staff Pharmacist - Tecumseh, Kansas

A closed-door long-term care pharmacy located in Topeka, KS is seeking a skilled Staff Pharmacist to join their team on a contract-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for pharmacists with long-term care experience, though newer graduates and those with retail pharmacy backgrounds are also encouraged to apply. The position offers consistent work Thursdays and Fridays, providing a focused and structured schedule.

Schedule:

• Thursdays & Fridays
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Quality Assurance (QA) activities to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Conduct cycle checking to maintain inventory and medication accuracy
• Verify prescriptions and ensure appropriate medication dispensing

Qualifications:

• Active Kansas Pharmacist License with a clear record and no negative history
• Minimum of one year of pharmacist experience; long-term care experience preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to begin work as soon as possible
